Step 1 has a white cream texture. Alongside the two lifting ingredients, its ingredient list includes cetrimonium chloride, dimethiconol, hydrolyzed keratin, hydrolyzed silk and amino acids. The three products are labelled separately: Step 1 Lifting Cream, Step 2 Neutralising Cream and Step 3 Hydrating Serum.
