Professional Eyelash Curling Process Working Principle And Usage

Steps: 1

Operation steps: 2

With the help of a special eye patch, cover the lower eyelashes while protecting the skin. Use KISS GLUE® "Silicone Pad" to select the right size silicone pad for the customer's eyelashes, and select a pad for the customer whose eyelashes will not touch the notch on the silicone pad. Have the customer close his eyes while measuring and selecting the right pad size. (Silicone size: L, M2, M1, M, S choose the right silicone pad)

Operation steps: 3

With the help of KISS GLUE® "Eyelash Water-Soluble Glue", apply a thin layer of glue on the back of the silicone pad to adhere to the eyelid. Place the silicone pad on the edge of the eyelid, as close to the root of the eyelashes as possible. Depending on the effect we want to achieve, the eyelashes can be placed closer to the outer edge of the eye or more vertically. Use the Z-shaped eyelash comb and multi-functional metal tool to fix and comb the eyelashes.

Operation steps: 4

Apply agent 1: KISS GLUE® "LIFTING CREAM+"Place an appropriate amount of No. 1 lifting lotion (with a professional brush) 1. 5 - 2 mm from the root of the eyelashes, use a small brush to evenly apply it to the middle of the eyelashes, and apply 3/4 of the length of the eyelashes from the root of the eyelashes upwards. Do not apply to the tail and tip of the eyelashes, and do not let the lifting product enter the eyes or contact the skin.

No. 1 lifting lotion according to the nature of the eyelashes: fine and soft eyelashes: 6-8 minutes, normal eyelashes: 8-10 minutes, thick eyelashes: 8-12 minutes, repeat the same steps for the other eye, and after the time is up, use a dry cotton swab or a professional beveled brush to wipe off agent 1.

Operation steps: 5

Apply agent 2: KISS GLUE® "NEUTRALISING CREAM+", apply an appropriate amount of No. 2 setting lotion (with a professional brush) to the eyelashes. The treatment time of No. 2 setting lotion is 10-12 minutes. Repeat the same steps for the other eye. After the time is up, use a dry cotton swab or a professional angled brush to wipe off the No. 2 agent.

Operation steps: 6

Use eyelash glue cleaner: KISS GLUE® "Eyelash glue cleaner", use a disposable dry cotton swab to dip an appropriate amount of glue cleaner, and gently and thoroughly remove the glue at the bonding point between the eyelashes and the silicone gasket.

Operation steps: 7

Apply agent 3: KISS GLUE® "HYDRATING CREAM+", apply an appropriate amount of No. 3 nutrient moisturizing lotion (with a professional brush) to the eyelashes. The treatment time of No. 3 nutrient moisturizing lotion is 10-12 minutes, and the same steps are repeated for the other eye. After the time is up, use a dry cotton swab or a professional beveled brush to wipe off agent 3.

Operation steps: 8

Use a disposable dry cotton swab to gently slide the eyelashes off the silicone pad. Then use a wet cotton pad to gently remove the silicone pad from the eyelid.

Operation steps: 9

Use KISS GLUE® "Eyelash Defining Serum" eyelash essence to evenly apply to each eyelash from the root. It is rich in nutrients and has strong permeability. It can provide deep and comprehensive nourishment to the eyelashes, quickly set the shape, and maintain the shape of the eyelashes.

Lash lift kit for professionals, Professional lash lifting is a specialized salon service designed to curl, lift, set, and nourish natural lashes. A standard lash lift procedure typically comprises several steps: cleansing the lashes, isolating the lower lashes, selecting the appropriate silicone pad, securing the lashes with water-soluble adhesive, applying Lifting Lotion #1, applying Setting Lotion #2, administering a Nourishing Treatment #3, and finishing with a lash serum application. Adherence to proper procedural protocols-combined with correct aftercare-are critical factors that determine the effectiveness, longevity, and overall comfort of the lash lift results.

FAQ

1. What is a professional lash lift?

A professional lash lift is a beauty treatment designed to lift, curl, and define the natural lashes using professional tools, silicone shields, and treatment solutions. It enhances the appearance of the natural lashes by creating a more lifted and curled effect.

2. What is the difference between a lash lift and eyelash extensions?

A lash lift works on the client's own natural lashes and enhances their curl without adding artificial lashes. Eyelash extensions, on the other hand, involve attaching synthetic lashes to the natural lashes to add extra length and volume.

3. Who is suitable for a professional lash lift?

A professional lash lift is suitable for clients with straight, downward-growing, or naturally less curled lashes who want a more open-eye effect. Suitability should always be assessed by a trained professional.

4. How long does a professional lash lift last?

In most cases, the results of a professional lash lift can last 5 to 6 weeks. The actual duration may vary depending on the client's lash growth cycle, skin type, aftercare routine, and lifestyle.

5. Why do some clients' lash lift results last longer than others?

The longevity of a lash lift depends on several factors, including the natural lash cycle, oil production around the eyes, daily habits, whether the client rubs the eyes, and whether lash care products are used regularly.

6. How long does the full lash lift procedure take?

A standard professional lash lift treatment usually takes about 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes, depending on the client's lash type, processing times, and the operator's technique.

7. Why is lash cleansing necessary before a lash lift?

Deep cleansing before the treatment removes oil, dust, makeup residue, and impurities from the lashes and eye area. Proper cleansing helps the silicone shield and adhesive adhere better and supports more consistent treatment results.

8. Why is it important to clean between the lashes?

The spaces between the lashes can hold oil, dirt, and cosmetic residue. If the lashes are not properly cleaned, it may affect adhesive grip, lash placement, and the overall lifting result.

9. Why are eye pads used during the procedure?

Eye pads are used to cover the lower lashes, prevent upper and lower lashes from sticking together, and protect the skin under the eyes during the treatment.

10. Why are silicone shields used in a lash lift?

Silicone shields are an essential tool in the lash lift process. They help shape the curl and lifting angle of the lashes and directly influence the final lifting result.

11. Why are there different sizes of silicone shields?

Different silicone shield sizes create different lifting effects and are suitable for different lash lengths and eye shapes. Common sizes include L, M2, M1, M, and S.

12. How do you know if the silicone shield size is correct?

The correct silicone shield should sit close to the lash line and allow the natural lashes to fit neatly onto the shield without reaching the indentation or sitting awkwardly.

13. Why should the client keep the eyes closed when measuring the silicone shield?

Keeping the eyes closed allows the technician to better assess the eye shape, lash direction, and correct shield positioning for a safer and more accurate fit.

14. Why should the silicone shield be placed close to the lash roots?

Positioning the silicone shield close to the lash roots helps create a more defined lifting angle and a more even curl from the base of the lashes.

15. What are the functions of the lash comb and metal tool during a lash lift?

A Z-shaped lash comb and a multifunctional metal tool are used to separate, align, and fix the lashes neatly onto the silicone shield, helping to prevent crossing or uneven lash direction.

16. Why is water-soluble lash glue used during the lash lift process?

Water-soluble lash glue is used to secure the silicone shield to the eyelid and to hold the natural lashes in place on the shield during the treatment. It also makes the removal and cleansing process easier afterward.

17. Why should the glue be applied in a thin layer?

A thin layer of adhesive helps the shield attach more naturally and prevents unnecessary buildup. Thin application also makes lash arrangement cleaner and easier to manage.

18. What is the function of Step 1 in a professional lash lift?

Step 1 is usually the lifting cream. Its function is to soften the lash structure so the lashes can be reshaped and lifted into a new curl pattern.

19. Where should Step 1 be applied?

Step 1 should generally be applied 1. 5 to 2 mm away from the lash roots, covering the middle part of the lashes and extending to about three-quarters of the lash length.

20. Why should Step 1 not be applied to the lash tips?

The lash tips are finer and more delicate. Applying Step 1 to the tips may cause over-processing, frizzing, excessive curling, or an unnatural result.
